The third quarter wrapped up at the end of September, and the reports for multifamily investments have been released and are once again, very promising. Multifamily set a new quarterly absorption record of 251,500 units and overall vacancy rate fell by 1.2 percentage points quarter-over-quarter. The recession resistant success of multifamily has not gone unnoticed, as more and more investors look to invest in such a strong industry. Quarterly acquisition reached $242B, an increase from last quarter with certain markets receiving more attention than others.
