Quazi Sadruzzaman

Head of Portfolio Management

Mr. Sadruzzaman is the Head of Portfolio Management and a voting member of the Investment Committee at Blue Lake Capital. He leads portfolio performance and strategy, asset management and value‑creation initiatives.

Prior to joining Blue Lake Capital, Mr. Sadruzzaman spent 17 years in real estate principal investing and portfolio management.  He was a Managing Director at Manulife Investment Management, where he oversaw the performance and growth of over $2B real estate separate accounts. During his tenure, he also played a key role in launching a publicly traded office REIT in Singapore with investments in the US.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Sadruzzaman held investment roles at Clarion Partners, acquiring and managing multifamily, retail, industrial, and office assets. Prior to Clarion, he worked at The Davis Companies, where he focused on acquisitions, financing, and asset management of opportunistic real estate investments across diverse markets, property types, and capital structures.  

Mr. Sadruzzaman earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Science in Finance from the Brandeis School of Business and Economics. He also serves on the Brandeis faculty as a senior lecturer.

Outside of real estate, he enjoys playing tennis, swimming, hiking and running with his wife and two kids.
